"Push It," "Let's Talk About Sex," "Shoop," "Whatta Man," and 12 million records sold essentially tells the story of Salt-N-Pepa. But to run through all the accolades of every performer on this bill? There's not enough time or space. Let's just say that Biz has been staying busy with Yo Gabba Gabba and a number of hilarious commercials). Big Daddy Kane has been making guest appearances on albums nearly every year since his last full-length dropped. Whodini is relevant thanks in part to its hit song "Friends" being remixed and sampled by a number of contemporary hip-hop artists, and as far as Slick Rick (and his regular partner, Doug E. Fresh) goes, the Ruler said it best on "Memories": "I bring that love and feeling back to rap." Classic rap lives on, and so will the aftereffects of this memorable tour. (J. Min)
