One of the first cases of the great white Internet hype, this band has experienced both ends of the love-hate spectrum since its Graceland-aping (and super-addictive) indie pop debut. But Paul Simon had to source his African rhythms somewhere. And the band isn't having problems selling out shows, as with both of these (the band also plays tomorrow night).
