Talk about pressure: Justin Townes Earle's dad is roots-rock royalty (Steve Earle) and his middle name is an homage to one of country's most-loved artists, Townes Van Zandt. So far, though, he's done a more-than-decent job of living up to the legacy, releasing a couple of catchy, well-written albums that pay homage to his namesakes while inserting some more modern touchstones as well (like a cover of The Replacements' "Can't Hardly Wait").
