The sun is finally setting on the original locale of Buddy's famed house of Legends, as Columbia College gears up to turn the proving grounds of over two decades of the city's finest blues upstarts into a student center. Guy and crew are just moving into the old HotHouse space (415 W. Aldine), but the five-time Grammy winner and famed purple-suit, cognac-sipping dynamo is not getting any younger. And like you did with your first set of wheels as a teenager, Buddy will no doubt send off his old home with a bang. (Gavin Paul)
