You could be forgiven for thinking The Lemonheads, those alt-rock gods of the '90s, disbanded a long time ago. Because they did. But then they came back. Well, sort of. Frontman Evan Dando is the only remaining member of the original group, but that should be enough for most diehards. The new Lemonheads released Varshons, an album of covers, in 2009, and continue to tour - but on Friday, Dando will perform a solo acoustic set at Double Door. We'd expect plenty of songs from the singer's troubled past, including classics from 1992's It's A Shame About Ray.
