Nearly every song on Telepathe's debut album, Dance Mother, sounds familiar. This is not to say the music is derivative; the New York duo's synth-driven electro-pop is just so immediately likable that you figure you must have heard them somewhere already. But no; stick-in-your-head tunes like "In Your Line" and "Chrome's On It" are totally original - and totally addictive. Fellow electro-aficionados Ladytron and The Faint have a tough act to follow.
