Formerly located in Bloomingdale, Tapas Valencia packed up its tasty, small-bite dishes in February and headed downtown to the former Solo space in the South Loop.
Redecorated with vivid oranges, greens and blues, the eatery serves a number of warm and cold tapas, such as a salmon curado, featuring very thinly sliced, cured salmon served on bread with dill sour cream. Heartier hot tapas fare – like grilled filet mignon and beef tenderloin – are also available.
For dessert, diners can indulge in one of the restaurant's flans of the day – such as the vanilla custard flan topped with bittersweet chocolate – or just opt for a glass of the house sangria, served by the pitcher or the glass.
Look for a new lunch menu during the week and a brunch menu on weekends as well.
