It's a rebirth of sorts for this lounge, which was shuttered in 2004 after noise complaints against Circuit, Boystown's most glistening nightclub north of Roscoe. This cocktail cool-off counterpart caught a bad part of the financial shaft, as the owners hurried to soundproof the club side.
Finally revamped in the early days of 2010, Spiff Designs' Jeff Sobon was brought in to give the place a touch of glam, reaching for a glowing ball version of "Mad Men meets Boystown." Management backs it up with what they call "gorgeous, tits-out-to-here" bartenders, off-Halsted priced cocktails and an impending late-night bar snack menu.
Gone are its drag bingo galas of yore, Saturday's now hosting famed LBGT personality Miss Foozie and her Wiggin' Out shtick, while a small handful of TVs and projectors stream talk-friendly remixes of Lady GaGa and Pet Shop Boys videos.
