Fans of Mullen's on Clark will love this Rogers Park bar; it is, after all, the original. Unlike its Wrigleyville counterpart, this bar's exterior isn't screaming for attention with a vibrantly painted shamrock-clad awning. Instead, its dark-finished walls and gold-plated sign give the place an understated charm. Still, these sister bars share many similarities, a common love of the Cubs for one, lures local sports fans by the masses.

This pub also has a full menu packed with every kind of bar food fathomable, as well as some down-home dishes and a serious selection of salads. Regulars are crazy about Mullen's pot roast sandwiches, served on thick homemade garlic bread and chicken wings, slathered in your choice of sauce. From homemade pizza and pasta to ribs and chili, the only challenge at Mullen's is self-restraint.
