Step into Konak, and it won't be too hard to confuse Andersonville for an island location, as the blue interior, gentle breeze by the door and sporadically placed, palm-tree-like plants add to the mellow, "ya man" vibe. As far as food is concerned, noteworthy items include the vegetarian pizza, classic bar food standbys like burgers and various chicken dishes. The atmosphere is incredibly chill, as it seems to still somehow remain in off-the-beaten-path territory in this oh-so-well-trod neighborhood. Sit at the bar and watch one of many a big-screen television that adorns the bar, or kickstart up a game of pool. Make sure that you have cash on you, because that's the only thing that Konak will take.
