Although the official title is Mrs. O'Leary's The Dubliner, the South Side Irish bar is affectionately also known as "The Dub." The Dubliner doesn't serve food, but it offers a number of admirable nightly specials, including $2.50 Harp and Guinness pints on Tuesdays and $1.75 Budweiser, Bud Light, Bud Select and Michelob Ultra bottles on Thursdays.
The neighborhood-focused bar also sponsors a number of regular activities. In addition to its weekly bean bag toss league, in which the teams are named for Irish counties, free hot dogs and chips are served during Monday night football. However, if you're looking for a more private party, you also can rent the Dubliner out for special events – and extra bartenders and staff are provided at no extra cost.
