If you don't have tickets to the Cubs game or need a place to hang before the game, the new Captain Morgan's Club in at Wrigley Field is a perfect fit for you. While the bar is open during non-game hours, it's clearly attached to the Cubbies and is, in fact, actually attached to the stadium. Patrons can enter the ballpark through the restaurant's doors.

The Captain Morgan Club feels like many sports bars in Wrigleyville (which may have to do with its relationship to the Harry Caray Restaurant Group), though it has a decidedly tropical influence as well. The bar is made up of a tent (which opens completely in good weather), and several areas of patio. It feels a lot like a beach-side bar, only more sports-themed. More than 30 flat-screened televisions adorn each nook and cranny of the walls and the many service bars assure you prompt beverage service.

You'll find all the typical drink offerings here, including draft beers, bottle beers and a wide range of liquor drinks. House specialties include Captain Morgan rum and other beverages under the company's umbrella. Drinks on the menu include the Captain Cubby with Captain Morgan and Pepsi and the Northsider with lemonade, blueberry vodka and peach schnapps. A food menu is still in flux, but for now you'll find pub-style sandwiches topped with prime rib and chicken, as well as a few salads.

Captain Morgan's hopes to become a neighborhood bar during non-Cubs nights and is family-friendly up until game time and at night.
