So maybe you didn't make it back to South Bend, Indiana, for the homecoming game at Notre Dame this year. Thankfully there was the Wrightwood Tap, where you got to meet up with fellow alums to watch and listen to the game. Even better, you got to hear the fight song after every score. If the experience isn't authentic enough, sign up for one of the Tap's bus trips and tailgate outside "The House That Rockne Built."
This intimate neighborhood pub in the heart of Lincoln Park has plenty of plasma screen TVs for optimal viewing at almost any angle. Why not relax while you have a few beers? Try one of the plush leather sofas or a pub chair. Scoop them up quick though, as people tend to stake them out early.
The Irish at this bar won't be fighting over what kind of food to order, though; they can get it all. While Wrightwood Tap doesn't have a kitchen, the place is stocked with local delivery menus, putting everything from subs to Chinese at your fingertips.
