The Vale Craft Gallery is a place of whimsy. Wind chimes sound as the door is pushed open into a room of colorful vases that swoop upward like angelfish fins, metal bird sculptures and mosaic star and moon coffee tables. The gallery, owned and operated by Peter Vale, presents an excellent selection of contemporary American fine arts and crafts, which range from sculpture to jewelry to tapestries. Many of the objects are functional, such as mirrors and furniture; all are quite reasonably, even affordably, priced.
