Established in 1999, Joel Oppenheimer, Inc. owns one of the world's greatest natural history art collections, specializing in Audubon and antique botanical prints. The company was originally (since 1969) a paper conservation business. Still, today, a staff of professional conservators and preparators are employed full time working on collections and individual print works for museums, private collectors and fine art dealers across the country. Including the art of John James Audubon, the Oppenheimer collection includes prints by Louis Agassiz Fuertes, Edward Lear, and Margaret Mee, just to name a few, which are for sale.
